Operating connectors

Day-to-day connector operations that customers can perform today.

Prerequisites

• Connectors already configured on the appliance by Residion
• Operator Console access (mutating role to trigger ingestion)

View status

1. Open Data & Knowledge.
2. Review state, last sync, and RBAC labels for each connector.

Trigger ingestion

1. On Data & Knowledge, choose Trigger ingestion.
2. Supply connector + source ID.
3. Confirm the response includes {accepted, job_id}.

What you cannot do here

• Create a connector
• Enter or rotate OAuth / database credentials
• Register a third-party OAuth application

Those remain Residion-operated. See What still needs Residion.

How to verify

• Status list matches the connectors Residion installed.
• A triggered job returns accepted with a job_id.
• Last sync updates after the job finishes.

If it fails

Symptom	Action
Empty connector list	Ask Residion to complete initial setup
403 on trigger	Sign in as it_admin / app_owner
Job fails after accept	Send Residion the job_id and connector id
