Residion Docs

Documentation for the Residion on-premise AI appliance — for customer IT administrators operating a single-host deployment inside their own network.

Build once, publish twice. This site is the same documentation that ships as an offline bundle inside the appliance. Search and all assets work with no internet access.

What still needs Residion

Tasks that are not self-serve — read this before hunting for missing screens

What still needs Residion

What you can do without Residion engineering

The Operator Console (on-prem, port 18084) already supports these self-serve tasks:

  • View connector status and trigger an ingestion job

  • Enable or disable agent channels

  • Create, revoke, and quota API keys; view usage

  • Activate models and set per-workload routing

  • View and export the audit trail and agent execution journal

  • Set agent budgets

  • View deployment status, install plan, and settings

SSO federation and first-time connector credential setup are not self-serve today. See What still needs Residion.

Honesty baseline

These docs are written only from the vendored source of truth in this repository. They do not invent capabilities, performance numbers, or screens. Where something is not available, the page says so.
